Aiko 'Nina' Arisugawa

Disclaimer: This contains OC x Cannon content. This will also contain spoilers for F/GO, but it'll be marked appropriately.
Aiko Arisugawa (有須川 愛子, Arisugawa Aiko), nicknamed Nina[1], is one of the Masters acting under the Chaldea Security Organization. Prior to Singularity F Nina was working for Chaldea as a maintenance worker, but after being entangled with the incident her position was modified and she began to work as a Master alongside Ritsuka Fujimaru.
Daughter of Yuki Arisugawa and Kai Zhou. Yuki is a desendant of a long-dead mage family while Kai is a high-ranking mage of the Spiral Manor. With Kai being absent from Nina's upbringing, she was unware of her mage heritage up until her preteen years; although Nina has always felt as though she was different from her peers. The most interactions she had with her father were through monthly checks he had sent to her mother. However, when Nina turned 18, Kai finally goes to meet her, formally passing the family's Thought Key onto her and directing her to join Chaldea.
In her high school years (and university in the non-grand order timeline), Nina was an active member of the school's kyūdō club.
At first glance, Nina comes off as unfriendly due to her blunt attitude and frank personality. However beneath her harsh exterior, Nina is a surpisingly modest and mild-mannered person. Her bluntness comes from her distaste of secrecy and fronts, believing that such things makes things unnecessarily complicated and annoying.
Due to her father's absence in her upbringing, Nina didn't develop the same cold heartedness that other magi tend to exhibit.
Prior to inheriting the Zhou's Thought Key, Nina's magecraft mainly focused on material transmutation due to her interest in disassembling and repairing things. However even from a young age, she managed to have surface level access to the Thought Foundation and it subconciously influenced her beliefs and her magecraft. When she did eventually inherit the Zhou's Thought Key, she began to focus on learning the spells now available to her.

an old version of nina from late 2024. i'm too embarrassed to show even older iterations but i literally couldn't settle on a hairstyle for her until like early summer 2025.
[1] Nina is just what I called her when she was just a concept in my mind and what I continue to call her; I don't really have a in-lore explaination as to why she would be called that.
